What our athletes have said about their experience of the games and Special Olympics?

“Special Olympics means a lot to me. It has helped me realise my potential for doing Alpine Ski Racing. I never thought when I started out in this sport that I would have such opportunities for training and competition in GB and abroad. I’ve seen great improvements in my skiing and I’ve grown in confidence. It was fantastic to travel to Korea” –  Jane Andrews

“I was so lucky to find out about Special Olympics back in 2011, since then their activities play a large part in my life. Sport is a great way to keep fit and to meet new people and I was proud to compete in South Korea” – Mikael Undrom
