In June 2021, we launched our 2021-2024 Strategic Plan called Inclusion in Action.
This four-year plan provides the roadmap for everything we do as an organisation moving forward, as we continue our journey of exciting growth and further strengthen Special Olympics GB.

At the time of developing our strategy, we also carried out some research with our partner Two Circles which demonstrates a new era of inclusion and community in Great Britain and further strengthens the significance of our strategy.
As a headline the research identified that a staggering 36% of adults have a connection to or are aware of someone with an intellectual disability.* This equates to around 19 million adults in Great Britain and is far higher than was previously estimated. More on this can be found HERE.
With your support we aim to be the leading organisation for sporting opportunity for those with an intellectual disabilities and no longer the best kept secret in Great Britain.
We’ve already come so far in achieving this as outlined in our 2022 Impact Report but we still have a long way to go. Inclusion in Action sets the roadmap for achieving this by 2024.
We are Special Olympics GB. We are Inclusion in Action.
