We are delighted to welcome Guy Sinker to Special Olympics GB who has joined the team as our new Corporate Partnerships Manager.

Guy’s main focus will be the stewarding of our brilliant corporate partners, ensuring that our current partners, including our new partnerships with Dreams and Ocean Outdoor, reach their full potential which will in turn allow us to deliver our Strategic Plan ‘Inclusion in Action’.

Guy has a true passion for sports and fundraising. After achieving a degree in Exercise and Health Science at the University of Brighton, Guy has worked at England Rugby within their Corporate Social Responsibility team, working with catastrophically injured rugby players and within a wide range of fundraising areas, from high value donors to match day fundraisers. More recently, Guy has been working at Help for Heroes within their Corporate Partnership’s Team, managing a range of partners with multiple income streams. Guy’s expertise lie in the stewardship and cultivation of Corporate Partners, ensuring that both organisations benefit exponentially from the relationship.

Guy says: “I cannot wait to get started at Special Olympics GB. From the interaction I’ve already had, I can tell what a forward thinking, inspiring and welcoming organisation Special Olympics GB is. With my experience in corporate partnerships, sports and fundraising I know it’s going to be a great fit! With the Summer Series of Sport around the corner, I’m looking forward to engaging our partners, stewarding them through this super exciting event and to lead them through to not only the next games but to bring their value to our communities and beyond.”

Guy has recently moved to the Peterborough area and lives with his girlfriend Becky and their newly adopted Border Collie, Maggie. In his spare time, Guy loves to swim, read, walk his dog and is trying to learn piano!
