Getting started is simple! 

Click the ‘View Events Here’ button above to browse the full list of upcoming challenges on our partner platform, Run For Charity. 

Choose your event, fill in a quick registration form, and you’re in!
 

We’ll follow up with a welcome email, your fundraising pack, and everything you need to begin your journey.
 

2. Minimum Fundraising Targets: 


Each event has a suggested minimum fundraising amount, which helps us continue delivering life-changing opportunities to athletes with intellectual disabilities. We ask that once you have confirmed your participation that you create a Just Giving page. Talk to your workplace about match fundraising which may help reach your target sooner.
 

Targets vary by event — for example: 

  1. 5K Fun Run: from £100 

  2. Half Marathon: around £250 

  3. Skydives & Major Challenges: from £395

3. What Support You’ll Receive: 


You’re never fundraising alone. When you sign up, you'll receive:
 

  1. Special Olympics GB Fundraising Pack with tips and tools 

  2. free branded t-shirt or running vest to wear with pride

  3. Personal support from our events team whenever you need it 

  4. Social media shout-outs and fundraising advice 

  5. The knowledge that every penny raised helps athletes shine
