Special Olympics GB is actively recruiting passionate, experienced, and forward-thinking individuals to join our Board of Trustees.
Our Trustees play a vital role in guiding the strategic direction of the organisation and ensuring we continue to create opportunities for athletes with intellectual disabilities across Great Britain to thrive — both on and off the field of play.
As part of our commitment to inclusion and representation, we are especially encouraging applications from individuals with experience or insight in the following areas:
- Expertise in governance or legal matters
- Expertise in fundraising and charity income generation
- Expertise in education, SEN or youth engagement
- Knowledge of government or political advocacy
- Lived experience and a strong connection to the SO movement in Scotland or Wales

- Lead with insight, compassion, and strategic thinking
- Work collaboratively as part of a dynamic and inclusive board
