Special Olympics GB is excited to announce the launch of a nationwide creative competition inviting registered athletes to help design the official logo for the 2026 Special Olympics GB National Summer Games.
Building on the vital role athletes played in shaping the new hybrid format for the 2026 National Summer Games, Special Olympics GB is now inviting athletes to submit their own logo concepts. These entries will be shared at the upcoming Athlete Leadership Forum, where the most successful designs will be used as creative inspiration to help inform the final official National Summer Games logo.
“We’re incredibly proud to launch a competition that empowers our athletes to help set the tone for the 2026 National Summer Games,” said Laura Davies, Head of Events at Special Olympics GB.
“There’s no one better to help shape the visual identity of the Games than the athletes who inspire it. We’re very excited to launch this competition, see the designs, and then work with Athlete Leaders as they play a further part in choosing the winning theme.”
