Special Olympics Great Britain is delighted to announce the return of its FREE weekly Topgolf sessions in partnership with Topgolf UK, offering athletes, coaches and volunteers the chance to participate in fun, inclusive golf activity at venues across the country.

The 2026 Topgolf programme will begin in February, with free training sessions available to Special Olympics GB athletes, supported by PGA-qualified Topgolf coaches, at its four venues in England and Scotland.

Topgolf UK has been a partner of Special Olympics GB since 2023 and is committed to giving people with an intellectual disability the opportunity to experience golf with a difference.

Since the start of the partnership, Topgolf UK has also committed to raising £25,000 each year for Special Olympics GB through sales of its signature Double Smokehouse Burger - £1 from ever sale is donated to Special Olympics GB.

What is Topgolf?

Topgolf venues are state of the art driving ranges that offer a series of targeted, high-tech golf games that can be enjoyed in all-weather conditions. With music and great food available, Topgolf offers something for Special Olympics GB athletes of all abilities.

These are fun sessions that athletes of all abilities can take part in and the sessions can potentially help new players take their first steps towards eventually playing on 9 or 18-hole golf courses.

Topgolf PGA qualified Coaches support the training sessions, which play an important role in expanding sporting opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities, helping athletes develop new skills, build confidence and enjoy sport in a welcoming, community-focused environment.

Our partnership with Topgolf UK forms part of a global partnership between Special Olympics International and Topgolf, with athletes from around the world all participating in the tournament in the summer.
